Subhash Ghai is back with his Kaanchi trailer that has left us more confused than entertained. The film introduces Mishti, a feisty young girl from the hills of North India who falls in love with Kartik Tiwari. Mithun Chakraborty is introduced as a corrupt politician and the apparently romantic film turns into a socio-political drama. Rishi Kapoor joins in the fun and the innocent Kaanchi is suddenly seen kicking tables and initiating revolutions. The film is supposed to be the story of a sweet, young girl who takes on the system but the trailer rather feels like a jumbled mess.
